On 7 May 2026 the Society held a seminar by Inji Mammadli, a PhD candidate at Trinity College Dublin specialising in international law, climate change and statehood, at ADA University (room A201).
Her research concerns the legal implications of sea-level rise and whether a state can continue to exist without physical territory. She has contributed to the International Law Commission’s work on sea-level rise and took part in climate discussions at COP29.
